Installation and Integration

In most cases, the installation of a feedback control loading or motion base platform system is done by the Customer per the manual and drawing set that is provided with the system. Servos & Simulation can provide installation and integration services at the specified location for check-out, calibration, and acceptance of the feedback control loading and/or motion base platform system. This is done by a separate contract only and will need to be addressed and proposed to the customer. Scheduling for installation and/or integration is contract dependent. The customer typically is responsible for the mechanical installation of the control loader, installation of the linkages, and cable/wiring. If the customer requires assistance with mechanical or electrical engineering for the project, we are here to assist.

Acceptance Criteria

Acceptance criteria for a Feedback Control Loader System shall consist of the following items:

  • Matching a set of static and dynamic curves from the aircraft. These curves are to be mutually acceptable to the purchaser and Servos & Simulation.
  • Integration of the loader with the simulator.
  • Demonstration of the operation of the software.
  • Demonstration that the simulator can be flown from the cockpit using the control loader.
  • This assumes that Purchaser has a suitable simulation available in a timely manner.

Acceptance criteria for a Motion Base Platform System shall consist of the following items:

  • Making sure that the system meets the specification called out in the ATP
  • Integration of the Motion Base to the Host System/Control Loader for FFTD
  • Demonstration of the operation of the software.
  • This assumes that Purchaser has a suitable simulation available in a timely manner.
